Jubilee was annoyed she is being stuck having to go with Logan and Rogue to find some new mutant. Why she is annoyed one may ask despite liking their company? Its simple really tonight was meant to be a time to spend with Laura A.K.A X-23 and Logan in like a family night then they had to be for some reason assigned to find some newly awakened mutant. Now normally Jubilee wouldn't mind as she loves not being the 'baby' in the group sense she first joined but her status as a fledgling Vampirette causes her to be more of a moody and emotional fueled person like a young child or the like . While other traits are annoying or just childish in general something to do with how the vamp process works so the new ones can be protected and taught better in the long run but Jubilee let out a slight whine'' Why do we have to ? Can't someone else do this Logan?'' Jubilee asked arms and legs crossed as she frowned'' We had this planned for a month even and the whole team aswell as staff knew about the plan'' Jubilee added

"kid, an order is an order. summers might have his pretty little head up his ass, but he figured whatever the situation was, it needed the heavy hitters." he told jubilee, trying to spin things positively. Jubilee held her head once near and winced '' Something big is here ,something old calling to me. Maybe its a reincarnation ? '' Jubilee said not at all liking this feeling coming over her as unlike Draculas presence that seemed somehow caring and soothing. This feeling is dark,scary and primordial with a seemingly instinct driven set up on the presences call '' All I know is it seems caged and not belonging here and keeps calling me '' Jubilee said gritting her teeth when passing through a field of energy as whatever that shield was doing it seemed to scrabble some of her senses for the moment

"keep it together kid. this place don't smell right.." logan told jubilee, sniffing the air. his highly enhanced senses not as effected by the disorientation field, he popped his claws as the sound of combat boots echoed down the hall towards them.
meanwhile, deeper in, the source of her ominious feeling was tied to an examination slab. it was a young boy, 13 at the most. his hair white with strands of brown. his body petite but of a decent build, pale as though hidden from the sun. most striking however was his eyes, which were a milky white. despite this, the boy flailed in his binds, his eyes moving as though looking around despite the seeming blindness he had.

Jubilee herself could do to her fledgling senses pick up the ill intent from the people coming towards her as she let her fangs sharpen'' Invoking the Cromwell invocation'' Jubilee said on instinct as she dove under a spray of bullets and followed by letting her body turn to a mist going on towards the one who was using some high fire rate weapon ''My my what do we have here? A little boy with a big boys toy? '' Jubilee is trying a scare tactic to get the person to shoot at her mist form that is inform of this persons allies

Rogue herself took the moment to fly above the people to get past them and find what they are here for and help anyone else they can

logan likewise waded into the gunfire, popping his claws to slice the barrels off the offending weapons. his healing factor easily allowing him to shrug off the bullets.

meanwhile, the boy turned his head towards the noise of ongoing chaos. unknown to most, he had a secret. his mutation allowed him to "see" via the mass of the objects around him

and to alter the mass of what he could touch to lighten or make things more heavy. sure it had some drawbacks.

he couldn't see details or define colors. but he could make out shapes, and differentiate between different people. and he certainly saw the female flying over the people who'd kept him here. "h..heeeeey! I..i'm over heeeeere! heeeelp!" he shouted, figuring that he'd be better off taking his chances with intruders than with his own captors.

''Oh really so uncool'' Jubilee remarked on the one idiot guy who shot Logan in the crotch. Thankfully Logans healing will handle that but still that likely warrants payback while sent some of her 'fireworks' at someone who was going to try turning on the airflow in this location

''Oh sugar you sure don't smell like sugar'' Rogue tried to good naturedly joke given who they came after is in a used diaper as she started breaking the bonds easy enough while the captors are being occupied by Jubilee and Logan

logan growled, rushing that one idiot. rule number one with him. don't. hit. the. balls.

the boy pouted at that, rolling off the table, and to his feet, stretching. "..tell that to the jerkwads that had me tied up." he huffed

one of the guards however had snuck up on rogue, though the kid noticed, ducking past her, and grabbing the guard by the arm, smirking. "you guys wanted to see what I can do?..hope there's not too many floors under this one~" he snarked, the floor underneath the hapless guard collapsing as though he'd suddenly gained an immense amount of weight.
