Jaden was attending his 3rd year at Duel Academy, despite being super excited for another great year at Duel Academy this year will start off in a way that he doesn't expect, at the same time for a certain close female friend of Jaden's will go through the same thing.

"*Yawn* Another fine day at Duel Academy!" Jaden said waking up in his bed stretching. Cyrus lived in the Obelix Blue Dorm, while Alexis is living with Chaz on the other side of the Slyther Red dorm. So Jaden basically slept alone. "Better head to the owl house befor-" Jaden paused for a minute to feel his bed and felt a big wet spot on his bed and was confused how. "I wet the bed?! I haven't done that since I was 11." Jaden paused and remember he was dreaming he was facing off with Aster and played a field spell for his Aqua Dolphin then the dream stopped. "I guess it must have been that dream I had."

Jaden then gathered up his sheets and headed out into the laundry room of the dorm.

Alexis stirred in her bed as she sensed something disturbing her sleep. After rolling under the covers for a few seconds, she opted to sit up in her bed and yawn loudly. Dressed in a black tank top and a pink pair of pajama pants, she took a second to move some stray hairs away from her face as they tickled her nose slightly. After a few seconds of waiting for her brain to wake up, she finally discovered the source of her sudden awakening, a pair of smell socks draped over her chair that she wore to yesterday's gym class. "Gross..." She moaned but she took this as a sign from the gods that it's time to do laundry. Luckily, the laundry room is on the way to the bathroom as she collected a pile of clothes that needed to be cleaned and put them in a basket before slipping on a pair of slippers of her bare feet and walking out of her dorm room.

Humming a song to herself slightly, she was shocked to hear someone else was doing laundry at this hour. As she approach and opened the door, the person she least expected was on the other side. "Jaden? What are you doing up so early?" Alexis asked as she slowly closed the door behind her, her eyes wide in surprise. "...and doing laundry no less!"

Jade looked in shock. "Alexis!" Jaden shoved the bed sheets into the washing machine. "What you doing up this early?" Jaden looked worried that Alexis might find out, but he tried to change the topic He laughs a bit looking at the sealing.

"H-Hey, I asked you first!" Alexis blushed slightly, not wanting to tell the boy that she was woken up by the smell if her own socks. Knowing Jaden, he would probably tell the whole school! She was snapped back to reality when she noticed he wasn't putting clothes in the washer.

"Couldn't you have waited until later to wash your sheets?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"It's not like this is the only washing machine in the dorm." Jaden chuckle a bit. "I'm going to head back to my room now and get my deck ready for the next duel." Jaden said getting passed Alexis then bolted to his room.

"Jaden wait!" Alexis called out, but the boy already left the room and shut the door. "Weird..." The blonde sighed as she turned and began focusing on her own laundry.

After a few minutes, Alexis also left the laundry room and made her way to the shower to prepare for the day.

"Oh sweet Neos, I can't beleive I wet the bed. I haven't done that since for a long time, at least my sheets are being washed and I got 2 more beds to sleep in." Jaden said with a smile but still was blushing.

Later on that day Jaden was in the card shop talking to Dorothy about any new cards.

"So any new cards came in Dorothy?" Jaden asked

Dorothy smiled happily as she saw Jaden enter the store, stopping what she was doing to greet him at the counter. "Oh hello Jaden! Yes, we just received a shipment this morning and we have plenty!"

Alexis had a similar idea as she walked into the card shop with a smile. "Why am I not surprised to see you here?" She stated walking up to join the boy.

"Oh hey Alexis, well you know me I love to see the newest cards." Jaden said with a smile. "So you need to take care of what you needed to do this morning?" Jaden asked curiously.

Alexis sighed and blushed a little. Doesn't Jaden know when to drop stuff like this? "I did, how about you? Are you finally going to tell me the real reason you were in the laundry room this morning?"
