Yugi had just finished a gaming tournament his friends urged him to do them thinking it'd atleast distract him for a little while seeing as he wasn't taking his grandpa's passing on in a healthy matter. But it hadn't distracted him for the simple fact it brought to mind the fact his Grandpa had only started selling this newer game products when his grandpa took a turn for a negative in the health department. Yet he went through the tournament to get his friends off his back and he was tired of all those in the tournament having challenged him early on when it just started and he wasn't in it so he joined to stop being annoyed at saying the same thing of refusal .

Yet now that hes won yet another game tournament unlike his normal joy when hes in one that doesn't have some mystical cause or end up having some mystical threat factor it just felt hollow like it didn't matter at all worrying his friends especially Tea

Tea Gardner, one of the young Yugi's closest friends smiled on the sidelines. She knew that her friend was facing a rather tragic event in his life with his grandfather passing and emotional rollercoaster he must've been feeling so she assumed this tournament would help him in some way or another especially by distracting him from it. The girl of course knew that if Yugi wanted to do so he could go to the Pharaoh for advice but also knew that the Pharaoh wasn't the best at dealing with someone else's emotions or comforting them or at least that' s what she had been told by Yugi himself.

The competition over and Yugi of course being the victor Tea couldn't help but smile broadly running up to the spiky haired shortie well he was shorter then everyone else in the group but looking past that she could see the sadness and the uninterest in the boy's eyes which of course worried her to no end and having been thinking it over she thought she could help him. "Hey Yugi.... Later, after this is over do you want to come over to my house?"

Yugi had been up till Tea was up to him giving Seto Kaiba the 2 place victor a death grip handshake that if given to most anyone else would have equaled at the very least dislocated bones if not broken hand bones for unknown to pretty much anybody including Tea ever sense the Pharaoh had manifest in him and linked him to the shadow realm his darker emotions was shifted from purely under his control to mostly the Pharaoh controlling it,so without the puzzle on for so long about 2 months now aided by the emotional rollercoaster hes prone to let his darker emotions show way more often in regards to those he holds even a slight grudge towards and Seto is for now at the top of his list do to ripping up the Blue eyes white dragon card of Yugi's grandfathers all that time ago. But Yugi stopped the death grip when Tea was in sight not wanting to worry his friend though Seto had nearly talked some sense into Yugi on how Yugi was handling the loss of a loved one yet he shut up when someone A.K.A in this case Tea was in ear shot

Yugi smiled at Tea he won't admit it but hes got a sorta crush on Tea has for awhile matter of fact he had enlisted the Pharaoh early in the shared body set up to help him protect Tea when Tea was a target of lectures among other types of people''Sure Tea,but please no games unless its like poker or something else like that''

Tea smiled unaware of her friends more darker emotions only aware of what lay on the surface which she could tell by the last few days was sadness at the loss of his grandfather but Tea had an idea that she deemed was goodenough to maybe help her friend with what he was feeling which she assumed was still sadness. When told that Yugi wanted no games she raised an eyebrow. "What do you think I'm going to do? I just wanted to invite you over to my house."

Yugi blinked before he realized his mess up at what he said to Tea on the invited''Sorry used to Joey,Tristan and Dukes ideal of what to do when over dang game maniacs ''Yugi said with a laugh as he rubbed the back of his head both in embarrassment over what he said first to Tea on the invite''So I know I should have said this long before now sorry for all the danger and trouble you get involved in do to me that I seem to attract, be attracted to or stumble across ''Yugi added as he seemed to be in a better mood like usual with Tea around

Tea smiled listening to her much shorter friend speak for a second envisioning her plan which she'd of course execute slowly as to not overwhelm the boy but in the end caught what he saying. The girl laughed waving a hand in front of herself. "You don't have to apologize Yugi all this stuff sure beats being bored at home that's for sure... Now what about coming over right now? I know how to make some great food now so I could cook you something." She suggested before extending her hand out for Yugi to take seeing as how everyone was already gone or going she thought this little holding the boy's hand gesture could be the start of the plan of hers.

''Hey its still no excuse for the danger I get you involved in''Yugi stubbornly replied on the matter that Tea tried to brush aside on the apology yet on the offer to come over he jumped abit happy his crush is serious on the matter yet on cooking for him he couldn't help shake his head''You don't need to cook anything. Besides I'd like you to try some of the recipes that you know who taught me that I adapted the cooking method if you'd let me use your kitchen ''Yugi didn't state who as the Pharoeh is who taught him recipes from eras past. Upon the offered hand took it as Tea was offering it''But lets go''

"Really it's okay... I actually kinda liked it well I mean we all became really good friends because of all the danger we got into and we made a bunch of friends from it too." Tea smiled when Yugi took her hand and led the way more like a mother leading a small child then two friends walking home. When Yugi said he'd like to try cooking Tea was quick to try and gently kill his idea because in her mind for this to work Yugi in the kitchen signified that he wasn't transforming into her baby. "No.... That's okay I'll cook for you. The point of me inviting you was so you could relax and not think about you know who. I'll cook for you and if you wanted you could even take a bath you know it's been hot today and I'm sure you're probably really sweaty." Tea replied purposely saying 'Bath' instead ofshower to try and implant more little ideas into Yugi's mind. "I know how to mwke some great foods plus I taught myself how to make different types of desserts like chocolate cake maybe later you could help me make cake." Tea stated smiling at her shorter friend as they finally reached her house and without saying much else she unlocked the door and half pulled Yugi inside all with a smile on her face.

''I wanna cook for you though''Yugi said in protest''Besides someone as pretty as you shouldn't have to cook much'' moments later he blushed slightly at what he let out, but Tea likely would have caught onto the fact ages ago that Yugi has a crush on Tea given how Yugi tends to act around said person . Yet upon making it to the house he let a slight yelp at being half pulled into the dark room for the window blinds was shut and no light was on for a moment. The yelp was sorta cute sounding but it was instinctive to Yugi after all the times he had gotten pulled into dark places . Yugi even had to will himself not to go into a fighting stance and he succeeded

"I'll cook. You don't have to worry Yugi." The girl replied purposely skipping over the beautiful comment having known a long time ago that Yugi had rather romantic feelings for her but she didn't actually feel the same away having always seen Yugi as more of a little brother then a lover but of course at this time she didn't want to tell him that for fear of breaking his little heart even more then it already was. The girl giggled finding Yugi's yelping quite cute and quickly turned around turning on a light to her house revealing a rather well furnished living room. The woman turned around with a small smile on her face. "You need a bath, Yugi" Again Tea used bath instead of shower to implant infantile behavior into him.
