Twilight was in the middle of mixing a very complex potion. That when drunk would transform her into a creature that had it's DNA added to the potion. She had made all the preparations and had everything down to a tee. Fluttershy was there with her, in case anything went wrong. And Spike was there because, Spike lived with Twilight of course. Instead of doing some mindless chore he was watching Twilight's progress. The potion was going to make her into a dragon, as she was using his DNA in the potion, which was just some nail clippings.

But he thought it would be interesting to see another dragon, especially an older one since Twilight would be able to tell him about how he would grow. Twilight was putting the finishing touches, muttering some incantations that went with the potion making process.

((For those reading, this RP is set in the same universe as "Cutie Mark Crusaders Toilet Training Yay!" (found at http://diaperedanime.com/forum/showt...usaders-12460/). Essentially, ponies are toilet trained after they get their cuties marks, meaning that the crusaders and (more importantly for this RP, Spike) are still in diapers. He is a baby dragon, after all.))

Spike watched the procedure, trying to fight boredom. It turned out that watching a potion being brewed was less exciting than he thought it was going to be. He had expected bubbles everywhere, or lightning striking dramatically in the background. Instead, had spent the last half-hour watching Twilight check the temperature of the potion, or compare its color to an illustration, occasionally adjusting the burner or adding small amounts of alchemic substances. It was more exciting than watching paint dry by only a small margin, but it was better than cleaning.

At this point, Pinkie Pie, slammed open the door. "Twilight!" she screamed. "There's an emergency! I need you to help me gather all the ice cream in Ponyville, stat! There's no time to explain!"

Twilight simply ignored Pinkie, she often burst in shouting nonsense. Fluttershy was off to the side. "Why do you need so much ice cream Pinkie?" She asked.

"Didn't you hear me, Fluttershy? I said there's no time to explain!" Pinkie was frustrated that her friends could be so silly sometimes and ask questions like that. "I don't think you understand, Twilight. This is the fate of Equestria we're talking about here! The situation demands ice cream."

Then she noticed what Twilight was doing and stopped. "Ooh, watcha dooin?" she asked, sliding up next to her friend.

"Careful Pinkie!" Twilight hissed. "You have to be careful, this is a delicate potion and it's almost done. It requires my total concentration." Twilight stated.

"Sounds like fun!" shouted Pinkie. "What's it gonna do when you drink it? Are you gonna drink it? Or are you gonna make little Spikey-Wikey drink it? Is that why you keep him around? Is he your guinea pig? Do you perform experiments on him in the basement? Is he actually just a pony that you made look like a dragon? Did you kidnap him and now his pony parents are looking for you so they can get their son back and have your mad scientist license revoked? Is there such a thing as a mad scientist license? Is there a committee that hands them out? Are they a secret society? Are you a member of a secret society, Twilight? Are you? Huh? Huh? Can I join? Do they let a pony like me join? Or is it one of those unicorn-only clubs with the uniforms with the pointy hats like my best friend from school was in before it got shut down by the royal guard?"

The questions kept coming, only getting stranger and more subtly racist.

Twilight did her best to ignore Pinkie Pie. It was becoming the crucial moment for the potion, she had to wait precisely ten seconds then she would add just a tiny sprinkle of the special powder, special powder being Spike's dragon claw clippings ground up very finely.

Pinkie began to notice that Twilight wasn't answering any of her questions. "Oh no, Fluttershy!" she cried. "I think Twilight's deaf! What do we do? Twilight, can you hear me? Twilight?"

There was only one thing left to do. "TWILIGHT!!" Pinkie Pie screamed at the top of her lungs, hoping her friend wasn't completely deaf.

Fluttershy tried to stop her. "Uh Pinkie..." She tried to gain Pinkie Pie's attention before she shouted but she failed. Twilight blinked as Pinkie shouted. Causing her to drop a bit more of the powder than she meant. Though she didn't notice. She immediately took the potion off with her magic and set it to cool. It was had turned a purple color, with a weird orange swirl throughout it, it was supposed to change into the color of the essence of the creature she took. "There, now just to let it cool down." Twilight said.
