Gardevoir gently floated as she followed her beloved Trainer through the grassy field. She preferred being by his side rather than being stuck in a Pokeball, unable to quickly protect him from danger if need be. She always felt a great connection with her Trainer, more-so than most Pokemon did. Her Trainer always took care of her, ever since she was a small Ralts... She wanted to do the same now that she was grown up... She just didn't know how she would go about doing what she wanted to do.

(i'm thinking a water pokemon could be in the river and it sprays Jacob in such a way to make it seem he had an accident when he goes to grab a drink.)
jacob smiled and grabbed a water bottle, "here, feel free to have a drink. it's the least you deserve for the hard work you do for me." he told gardevoir, tossing over the water.

Gardevoir caught the bottle and smiled shyly. " Thank you, Jacob. It's no trouble at all... " She said using her psychic abilities, otherwise known as using Telepathy.

jacob smiled and nodded. he went to grab himself his personal sports bottle, but it was empty. so, he went over to the river to fill it up.
A corphish was scuttling along the riverbed, and upon seeing the human in it's river got a Mischievious plan in mind. it snook up on him. and when it was in range, shot a water gun blast right at Jacobs crotch. Jacob, who was filling up his water bottle eep'd loudly as he felt the water hit him, leaving a dark spot all over the front of his jeans. the corphish scuttling away quickly, laughing to itself.

Gardevoir was taking a sip of her water when she heard her trainer let out an 'eep!'. " Are you okay..? Is something wrong? " She asked as she looked over at him, tilting her head. She was unaware of the Corphish skittering away from it's prank.

"i-i..uh.." at the insinuation of having had an accident, jacob blushed even harder. he wanted to shake his head, but just stood there, blushing, frozen in sheer embarressment.
