Start of a Journey (private with WittleNicky)

"Pokeballs, check! Running shoes, check! Extra pull-ups, check!"

17-year-old Melissa Summers was finishing up the last minute preparations for her Pokemon journey. She had been looking forward to this day for her whole life and the moment of truth was almost upon her. All that she had left to do was to get her partner.

"Hey, come out here! We're going to get our starters now! Hurry up!" Melissa said, knocking on the door of her neighbor's house. Her neighbor was a 17-year-old just like her, and they had been friends since they were very little, so Melissa wanted to go on her journey with them.

Next door to the girl was a boy Nick Grileno, or Junior as most people call him that since he was named after his dad was doing the last inventory check routine on his bag and what he had. "Annd...ooh wait a minute." Junior muttered which he went and pulled out a package of pull-ups from under the bed which he blushed hard.

"..Mother told me to bring these if i were to go out on my own one day. Ooooooh, but i don't want to be seen like this...ahh well." He sighs and stuffs the package in his bag.and eeped on the knocking of his neighbor. "Coming!!" He exclaimed while finishing packing and getting himself prepared before bolting down the stairs and to the door which he opened and bit his lips.

"Sorry about that, Melissa." He said a bit flustered since he had been friends with her since childhood when his family first came to the Kalos region.

Melissa put her hands on her hips while waiting for Nick. The brown-haired girl was wearing a t-shirt with a Pokemon logo on it and a short skirt, which just managed to hide her pull-up. She wore them because she was incontinent since birth, and was way past the point of feeling shame about them.

When Nick came and apologized to her, Melissa brushed the apology off. "Don't worry about it Nick," she said with a smile. "I know you were getting ready as fast as you could. So now that you're all set, let's go to the lab!" Melissa then bolted towards Professor Sycamore's Pokemon lab. She was always like this - a bundle of energy with the temperament of a little girl.

Junior was wearing a plain black shirt, a small scarf and jean shorts which luckily hid that pull-up of his from showing. Since he was born incontinent, he needed them to prevent having accidents both at home and in public..course he is scared being seen with it on since he had troubles at a young age due to being picked on because of it.

"Okay." Junior replied before he eeped when she bolted off which he ran after her in response.

Once the two of them reached the lab, they were greeted by Professor Sycamore, the Pokemon Professor. He then gave them his standard spiel about how the world is inhabited by Pokemon and how humans and Pokemon coexist in a variety of ways. After a few minutes, Professor Sycamore asked the million-dollar question.

"Are you two ready to choose a Pokemon partner to accompany you on your journey?"

Upon hearing that, Melissa jumped up and down happily. "Ooh ooh!" she squealed. "I wanna Pokemon, Professor!"

Sycamore smiled at Melissa's outburst. 'That girl. Always full of energy," he thought. Then, he turned to Nick. "How about you, Junior? Are you ready for your Pokemon?"

Junior heard the lecture of things before came the question which he nodded to him. "Yes Professor, i am ready." He replied with a slight nervous smile on his face.

Professor Sycamore smiled at Nick's reply. "Alright you two, you may now choose your Starter Pokemon!" he said with a flourish as a pedestal with 3 Pokeballs on it rose from the floor.

Once she saw the pedestal, Melissa ran towards it without missing a beat. She grabbed the leftmost Pokeball, nabbing the Fennekin. Melissa always thought the flaming fox Starter looked incredibly cute, and its Fire-type moveset perfectly suited her fiery personality.

Professor Sycamore then turned to Nick. "How about you Junior?" he asked.

Junior was a bit shocked on the pedestal rising and watched his friend pick out her pokemon of choice. He began to head over and look down to the two pokeballs sitting there and ooked in between them. One holds Chespin, a grass-type and the other a water type, Froakie.

"Hmm...only two...which one would i pick...?" He mumbled softly as he pondered to himself in thought. Fire type was his favorite as his father had one when he first started off at a young age but grass type was also his second rate.

"...I choose...Chespin." Junior stated as he picked the pokeball in his hand.

Melissa was hopping from foot to foot in anticipation of Nick choosing his Starter. A fantastic idea occurred to her and she really wanted to try it out. Once Nick made his choice, Melissa smiled.

"Hey Nick! Let's have a battle!" the brown haired girl said in a bout of fiery excitement.

Professor Sycamore smiled at this. "A splendid idea!" he said. "What better way to begin bonding with your Pokemon partners than a battle?"

Spurred on by the Professor's words, Melissa threw her Pokeball while exclaiming, "Fennekin, I choose you!" The Pokeball opened up with a flash of light, and a Fennekin appeared out of it. "Fennekin!" the flaming fox said, getting itself into an attack stance.

Junior looked it over some before looking shocked on what his friend said. "Wait, what!?" He exclaimed only to fidget on the idea. A battle this early and after getting his pokemon? Thats a bit too much for this boy. But once her Fennekin is out, he bit his lips and send out his Pokeball. "Chespin!" He exclaimed as his new grass partner appeared from the ball and yelled out. 'Chespin!'
