Lucy Hartfilia was a young and budding wizard at 18 years old she finally had gotten the courage to run away from home and pursue her dream of becoming a member of fairytail, they had been her favorite guild since she had grown up sneaking a read of their articles in sorcerers weekly and now it was her time to seek them out and accomplish the first step of her dream.

First problem was the fact she was such a very long way away from their guild, stuck in the port city of hargeon she was visiting a local dust shop without much luck of finding anything related to her own power. With a slight crinkle to her step she left the shop and soon found herself out in the middle of town fawning over a young man the crowd knew as the salamander, a wizard known for his strength every girl in the area seemed to be attached to him.

Erza Scarlet was taking a casual stroll through town when she saw a horde of women crowing over something. She noticed they were saying the name of someone called "Salamander". It reminded her of Natsu in a way. Erza didn't have as weak of a will, so she simply strolled up to the man in question. "Any idea why so many people are attracted to you? There's no magic being uses, isn't there?" As she asked that question, Erza rolled up the sleeve on her armor to show Salamander her Fairy Tail guild mark, hopefully to scare him off.

That accomplished exactly what she wanted to, the man scurried off leaving everyone back to normal including Lucy who seemed to be fawning over something else now “You’re actually a member! What! That’s insane! I’ve been wanting to join them for so long!” She squeaked out as a crinkle could be heard with each step.

Erza was surprised by the girl running over to her. For a second, she thought there was still a lingering effect of the spell, but it turned out the girl was just that excited. Erza also heard a faint crinkling sound coming from the girl, but decided to think about it later. "Yes, I am. An S-Class Mage even. What's your name?"

“My name? I’m Lucy! I’m here looking to join a wizarding guild with fairytail at the top of my list!” She squeaked out before turning back with a sigh “Like they’d ever give me a chance.” She added with crossed arms.

"Well, I'm from Fairy Tail, so maybe I can help you out. You seem like you have a lot of magical energy." Erza replied as she playfully ruffled Lucy's hair like a child. "I wouldn't say they won't give you a chance. I literally came from nothing and look where I am now. It doesn't hurt to try."

Her eyes seemed to shimmer “Y-you mean! They would consider me? Really!” She exclaimed before releasing another squeak when she suddenly started to wet herself, she tried to play a cool “Should we go somewhere and talk more?” She asked curiously

Erza nodded. "Of course." She raised an eyebrow in confusion at Lucy fainting but then heard a faint hissing sound coming from her. Erza figured she'd talk more about this with Lucy, and was lucky she wanted to talk somewhere else too. "That sounds fine to me." She replied.

She nodded slightly and the two moved towards a diner, sitting down to have a small bite to eat on Lucy of course as she sat down across from the redhead “So... where do we start?” She asked curiously.
