Trials and Tricks. (private)

[Liten]

A lone mare sat at the side in the entrance to an alleyway. Her mane and fur were clotted with dirt as well as being patchy and clumped. Her eyes were dull and her stomach was thin. About her she wore a tattered dirty cape. At one time it had sparkled with the sunlight as it twirled, now it only served to help cover the filthy mare as she endured the elements.

[LilLuna]

Twilight had to work out a few relations with the people here as one of her first matters of duty as a Princess and as such she was quite eager to get home now. Fortunately she had to take this route to get to the train station, and when she saw the mare something inside her clicked, she'd met her somewhere before. But right now she needed something to eat so she flipped open her saddlebags and pulled out some peanut butter crackers and offered them to her. "Oh my Celestia, here eat these." She said, wondering were in Equestria she knew her from.

[Liten]

The mare looked up at Twilight, her eyes shone with passion that betrayed her humble state. She took one look at the crackers that had been offered to her and she immediately turned away. She didn't want anything to do with Twilight Sparkle, not now, and not ever again.

[LilLuna]

The second those defiant eyes met hers she knew who this pony was, and she couldn't help but mentally smack herself for not recalling. The cloak was still wrapped around her, and although it didn't shine, her coat was the same color. "That is you isn't it Trixie?" She said, shoving the crackers towards her. "You need to eat, then I want you to come with me." She said, Trixie needed help, and if she wouldn't accept it she would take her by force.

[Liten]

"Trixie does not wish to have your help." Trixie said to her, pushing the crackers away again. She had no intention of taking help from that which had brought her so low in the first place. She would rather sit on the streets and starve than accept the help or charity of Twilight Sparkle. She didn't care one bit, at all.

[LilLuna]

Twilight was sure now that this was Trixie, and she'd been afraid that she'd say such a thing; but as always she had a back-up plan. "Then I'm sorry I have to do this Trixie." She said with a sigh, slowly channeling magic to her horn and letting it go. The spell was just a simple sleep spell, but in Trixie's condition it would be more than enough to make her pass out so she could finish what she needed to.

[Liten]

Trixie had no idea what Twilight was planning to do, but she only saw Twilight's horn flash for just a second before she completely blacked out and fell asleep. Falling asleep right on the ground in a heap.

[LilLuna]

Twilight sighed softly and slowly let her magic engulf the other unicorn. She slowly slid a cracker into her mouth and made her chew before massaging her throat to make her swallow. Yet soon they were at the train station and a few extra bits got them another seat on the royal express. She brought Trixie inside and slowly set her on the bed before covering her up, a plastic sheet above the cot. A bowl of hot soup was ordered and rested at her bedside, along with a nice glass of water. Finally the doors were locked and Twilight sat in the corner to read a bit.

Trixie slept long and deep. Her weakened state made her want to just continue to sleep. And the magic that was used on her only served to further that, so she stayed in a practically comatose state as Twilight transported her. Only ever moving when her dreams caused her muscles to spasm, breathing deeply as she sleep.

[LilLuna]

At each and every movement of Trixie's sleeping form Twilight looked up with a bit of a start. She used a few spells to make sure the soup stayed warm and even fed her a bit of it every thirty minutes or so. Finally she looked up at he clock and closed her book. A bedroll came out of her packs, and she slipped inside. The doors could only be opened by her and the conductor so Trixie couldn't run while she slept. Finally Twilight let her eyes slowly droop closed.
