Wonder Woman, Diana of Themyscira and superheroine to countless innocents. Grit her teeth as she swung one of Circe’s monstrous magic creations into another.

Circe had broken from her prison on Reform Island, and like always, chose to spend her freedom finding Wonder Woman and her allies and making them suffer. Donna Troy and Cassie Sandsmark, Troia and Wonder Girl respectively, were facing their own foes, magic doppelgängers. Which left Diana to face Circe.

“This is over, witch! Surrender now, and this can end peacefully.”

"Never! I shall triumph over you foolish Amazons!" Circe spat. She was tired of Wonder Woman acting like she knew better. So much, she conjured up a new wicked spell.

Wonder Woman noticed Circe preparing a spell. She had an idea. Her arm guards, bracers blessed with divine material, could be the perfect time to test out a theory she had regarding Circe’s magic.

“Very well, Witch. Cast your spell.”

There was a saying that Diana recalled, from Green Arrow, of all people. Hook, Line, and sinker.

The Hook was Circe’s spell. The line was Diana’s bracelets. And the sinker?

Was the way she raised them at lightning speed to reflect the blast. It strained her steps, but it worked, the auburn energy blasted back towards Circe, surrounding her with bright light.

And suddenly, all that remained was the bundle of purple cloak, now on the ground. Troia and Wonder Girl’s opponents melted into mud, the latter making a wince.

“Ugh, great. Now I need a shower when I get home. Hey, where did miss Witch go?”

Circe cried out in shock as she was zapped with her own spell. "NOOOOOOOO!"

Troia was just as confused. "Diana, what happened to Circe?"

Diana walked over to the bundle of robes, crouching down.

“I’m not sure… I reflected her spell, but the effects were unknown. It didn’t feel like a killing essence?”

Then, suddenly, there was a small sound underneath the robes, and a chubby head poked out. Cassie covered her mouth to withhold a snort of pure laughter.

Circe looked around. Everything looked bigger to her, and she knew why.

Donna looked down in disbelief. "Huh. That's, uh... weird."

Cassie couldn’t hold it back anymore, letting out a laugh of pure amusement.

“I’m-I’m sorry, it’s just… She’s a freaking toddler! An itty bitty little tot!”

Donna Lightly smacked Cassie’s hand, “Focus. Diana, does she remember anything?”

Diana studied Circe’s eyes. They had the same flow of magic, but now lightly dulled. She likely remembered herself, but felt frustrated. She pulled out her lasso, gently wrapping it around her foe.

“Explain that spell you cast," She requested, seeing her lasso glow with the magic within.

"Silence, wench! I will find a way to make you suffer!" Circe ranted in a high-pitched voice that did nothing to make her intimidating.

This only made Donna and Cassie laugh even more.

As the lasso was wrapped around her, Circe had no choice but to comply. "It was a regression spell, designed to humiliate you."
