I read somewhere (it may have been Wikipedia) that diaper fetish is more common in girls. I think that the idea is... a little off. I think I've seen more guys on here than girls.
But what do you think about it?

Well as far as anyone can tell, a guy would be a lot more open about it than a woman, and it's not surprising since most guys into this fetish can't way to take control of a girl and diaper her, or dominate her, or seduce her into being his mommy, and no this doesn't refer to ALL men into this fetish, but from what i've seen it's MOST men into it. I think that there could be more girls into it since i've seen a lot of "how i got into diapers" stories from girls being "my friend got me into it, or i became interested through babysitting", so to think of how it spreads through females that way it's at least possible. Also, with the ASSUMPTION that women have a weaker body, the ones that end up in a wreck have come out incontinent, or temporarily incontinent (also some stories that i've heard).

I am on a few diapersites and everyday there's a ratio of about 10:1 guys to girls who join the sites. Showing that it's possible that more guys are into the fetish, but only with online proof, which could just say that they're not afraid to post profiles and their interests online. I think guys are more outspoken about this fetish rather than most girls.

What i'm basically saying is this
1. can't conclude results from online profiles
2. guys are more outspoken
3. guys are on the prowl, preventing more girls from being outspoken about it

It's a little bit of both really, I would say guys are more drawn to it because the general pull of society is for guys to act "strong" and "macho" and being "little" and "cared for" is something society generally expects of women (even in this day in age). Since guys are more deprived of such things, it's expected that they would have stronger desires towards them. Which isn't to say that women don't, just that they're already kind of getting a form of it on practically a daily basis, so it's not really as big of a deal, or rather, noticeable for them. I mean walk into any Wal*Mart and in the pajama section for women you can find adult sized sleepers...yer not gonna find any in the men's section. There have even been tampon advertisements that have gone so far as to point blank say that pads are, effectively, diapers for women.

Our society makes it "okay" for women to be "little" and "babied" in a whole variety of ways that just aren't openly and directly available to men, and that general deprivation of basic human emotional needs is what often causes the scales to tip and for a grown man to want to seek full on baby treatment, where as a woman might be completely content with simply a bottle, or a stuffed animal or just wearing a blanket sleeper. It's very much a question of balances, but at our core we're all effectively the same as far as what we need, emotional wise. You need to be both strong and submissive, push too far into one direction or the other and you'll basically be "off balance"...of course it should also be noted that not everyone's "balance" is set exactly the same.
