Beast and Jubilee were visiting Japan as a special surprise for her birthday. Hank knew how much she was in love with the country and the culture. And had heard her talking about some major anime convention happening over there. Hank felt he kind of owed it to her given how often he sometimes frustrated her. He also decided that he'd try not to be his usual buzzkill about things she enjoyed. And after a good night sleep in the convention hotel after arriving Hank and Jubilee met the next morning.

Hank even decided to surprise Jubilee by meeting her in cosplay. He'd looked up his codename of 'Beast' in Japan, hoping to find some Japanese retelling of 'Beauty and the Beast' but actually came across a fairly interesting anime called 'The Boy and the Beast' and thought Jubilee would get a kick out of it. Hank was dressed like the aforementioned Beast aka Kumatetsu from the anime. "Well?" Hank asked with a massive smile on his face as he waited to see how she'd react to him joining in.

''I'm impressed for your first cosplay on such a short notice but you are missing something for the Katana aswell as you look too nice '' Jubilee spoke up after a moment of circling Hank inspecting his attire and thinking '' I know a booth we passed last night loaded with so-called magical items and I seen a replica Katana there. '' Jubilee spoke up on the matter rather eager to complete Hanks look


Despite this Jubilee had plans to visit that booth for some items anyway out of a desire for some of them and as gifts for her friends

Hank couldn't help but chuckle softly at Jubilee critiquing his cosplay. "It wasn't that hard to put together on the fly. And I didn't know if I should get a Katana or not. I know back in the States they have strict rules about even fake weapons at Cons." Hank offered with a sheepish little grin as Jubilee. He was glad she was enjoying the Con as well as his little surprise so far. He really enjoyed seeing her happy.

"But I have had a lot of people compliment me on it." In fact he had, including from some people that wanted to invite him back to their room. But Hank wasn't about to leave Jubilee hanging even in exchange for a little romance. "Lead the way... there's so many people I can't tell who's bumping into me and who's feeling me up." Hank joked as he tightened his sash and proceeded to follow Jubilee's lead.

''As much as I love the U.S.A it can be over-restrictive in someways''Jubilee remarked as she may not be a weebaloo as so many call those obsessed with Japan in alot of ways, but she can easily see how varies countries have specific over restrictive laws or rules''As for rules I checked them out for Japan you can have theme and other replica bladed weapons so long as they aren't sharp. '' Jubilee said as she finished putting on her Cosplay of her mother Figure Storm as the X-men do have alot of eastern fanbases granted Jubilee has some so-called magic weather charm she bought last night seeing as Storms magical bloodline had came to light and so Jubilee felt such a charm was fitting. But Oh buy how wrong she will be on finding out the magical girl item charm is a real magic item like the Katana.

'' So how do I look ? Do I look sorta like a mini Storm?'' Jubilee asked Hank as she snickered though at Hanks comment on not sure who is doing what

"Well... I can't blame them for worrying about crazies at Cons. I remember hearing about some real horror stories over the years." Hank commented as Jubilee filled him in on the rules of the convention here. Hank blinked at Jubilee's cosplay of Storm and couldn't help but chuckle. "Interesting choice. I thought you'd go something more Japanese and cutesy. Guess you didn't wanna wear a short skirt around the Con?" Hank playfully joked as he gave Jubilee a light swat on the seat.

Hank smiled and nods though to the question if she looked liked mini Storm. "Not bad though. But I wouldn't go with 'Mini Storm'." Hank stroked his chin just a bit as he looked her over. "Wouldn't 'Chibi Storm' be more culturally accurate?" Hank followed Jubilee to the table that she'd bought her gem from... casually looking over the various objects and items... many of them resembling various magical things from numerous Anime. "There has to be some really weird anime out there."

''Considering someone likely young Bobby switched my panties for little girl type of panties yaeh wasn't going to wear what I planned '' Jubilee remarked honestly on the matter unknowing how both of them may just be needing padded soon enough with her being the boss .

'' Jubilee remarked as she started humming a tune from a obscure anime she recently had discovered ''Oh these we should get you'' Jubilee pionted to some rather infantile magical girl items in Hanks size'' You are in a midlife crisis currently after all those might be just the thing needed to spice your life up''

Hank quirked a brow at Jubilee as she commented about someone switching her panties. And clearly looked both curious as well as too embarrassed to ask about what exactly she meant by that. "You know... I'm sure we could have gone shopping if you needed to replace anything while we're here." Hank gave Jubilee a comforting pat on the shoulder as they continued to look over all the items for sale.

"Huh?" Hank turned his focus back to Jubilee and whatever she found for him. And then glanced to some of the very infantile girlish items associated with an anime he'd never even heard of. He stepped closer and picked up the frilly pink rhumba panties from the table and held them up. "I think there's such a thing as over-correcting to a mid-life crisis. What sort of anime is all this from anyway?"

''A obscure magical girl anime atleast obscure outside of Japan '' Jubilee admitted'' Its rather niche but all I am sure about is its a anime started for young girls still in diapers and potty training but much like mlp;fim the fanbase has grown way past that target demographic otherwise I don't know much about it '' Jubilee admitted as she hasn't found anywhere to get the serious officially subbed and even fansubs are hard to find .

''Wear them for me, please? I'll owe you and wear something of your choice for me to wear'' Jubilee was being honest and really wanting Hank to wear that and other minor infantile items at sometime. Still she thought on the matter and laughed a moment'' Just think if you had been in a magical boy anime you'd be so adorable ''

"Explains the reduced price... likely has limited appeal." The price had been slashed a couple times... and given the items were in Hank's size... not like many Japanese fans likely were the right size for them.Hank perked a brow at Jubilee... as she actually sounded like she was begging for him to wear them for her if she bought them.

"You can't be serious." Hank asked, looking over the various items and the rhumba panties he was holding in his hands. "Maybe you should buy them to trick Bobby into wearing them." Hank suggested and perked a brow as Jubilee started trying to butter him up with all the praise. "You're going to pull the 'Birthday' card, aren't you?"

''Oh I'm serious '' Jubilee remarked as she patted Hank'' its over do for you to be in a regressive situation anyway''Jubilee remarked reminding Hank he always lucks out in those times getting to stay an adult'' Nah Bobby is now gay remember? So he might like these''Juibilee still isn't convinced either Bobby was really gay as too many telepaths had invaded Bobbys mind over the years that it would have been aired by at least the badguys but Jean a teenage version found it .
