Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Planet of Padding
"Mayday, mayday, mayday! This is Earth Astronaut Marianne Jessica Cassiopeia aboard the Hades-11 spacecraft, Galactic Date 13/36/9221, Earth Date September 17th, 2245! We were hit by abnormally large space debris and are abandoning ship! I'm about to launch myself out in an escape pod which should be trackable by Galactic Unified Nations tracking devices. To whoever may be listening to this signal, please, come find us."
That was the message she sent out about a weeks ago. Now, she was rocketing through the endless space in an escape pod that offered very little room for movement. Escape pods aren't meant to carry a person this long, which is why they didn't typically stock food in them. Instead, all she had was water that had run out yesterday. As she lost hope and closed her eyes for what she imagined would be the last time, she felt her ship change course. A ship changing course in space without a collision could mean one thing, she was being dragged in by some planet's gravity. She closed her eyes and braced for imminent impact, hoping that whatever planet she landed on would be habitable and hopefully full of food.

Marianne rubbed her head as she sat up in her bed. She didn't even remember the impact, let alone how she got into this house. Thankfully for her, escape pods are designed for the express purpose of crash landing, meaning any damage done to her brain was minor.

She looked up and down at her supposed savior. She looked humanoid, but so did many species in the universe. About 50% of all intelligent life, actually. "Hello... What planet is this? What are your people called? Are you aligned with the Galactic Unified Nations?" she asked, her universal translator working wonderfully on this alien who most likely did not speak Dutch, the common Earth tongue after World War 4.
