Captain Amelia Axtron was currently in her quarters, preparing to address the crew of the spaceship she was placed in charge of, the Cosmos. She was making sure her uniform looked like it was in top condition to present herself as someone with a commanding presence. Her uniform was a blue long-sleeved shirt with symbols of the United Federation of Earth and a golden badge signifying her rank, as well as a black skirt that went down to her knees, as it was a special accommodation she requested. This was because Amelia was worried someone would notice a certain piece of clothing that wasn't exactly something that went with the uniform.

While Amelia's mother was human, her father was a Haosian, an alien known for the ability to share their long lifespan with others. She inherited her father's yellow eyes, and had a pair of antennae that weren't quite as long as her father. In addition, her skin was a light shade of green, lighter than her father's, but she still had his green hair which went down to his shoulders. Unfortunately, even though Amelia was seen as an adult by human standards, she was still seen as a toddler by Haosian standards. As a result, Amelia still needs diapers despite being in her mid-twenties, which caused no shortage of embarrassment for her. Before she could worry about what her new crew would think of her, she heard a knock on her door. "Yes, who is it?"

Matt was a simple human, as sad as the introduction of that was since a good majority of species now intermingled in the universe. He stood at 6’1, 250lbs, with short black hair and green eyes. He currently wore an orange long sleeve skin tight shirt, with black pants and an orange stripe down the side. The clothes were durable and had insignias for the federation of Earth, and a symbol that represented ‘First Mate’ to the captain. Each symbol was on his left and right shoulder respectively.

He knew that Captain Amelia was preparing to meet her crew. The engineer and doctor currently waited in the main deck, and once take off began would go to their quarters as needed for running the ship.

After a knock he smiled on the other side looking into the camera above the door. “Amelia... who do you think it is?” He asks playfully. He knew his captain for a few years as she rose in rank and managed her own ship to pilot and he gladly took on the role of 2nd in command for her. “May I enter?” He asks. The door of course ready to slide from one side to the other when opening.

Amelia smiled at the sound of her friend's voice. She was happy to see Matt and eagerly let him in. "Hello there, Commander." She said teasingly. "Hey, I'm sorry if this is awkward, but I just want to make sure." Amelia nervously turned around and bent over a little so Matt could see her skirt. "Do you think my butt sticks out in this?" She asked. Amelia had known Matt since the first day of the academy, so he knew about her diapers.

After walking in and the door slid shut behind him he tilted his head. "Captain, you don't need an approved skirt for your uniform. I think it will call more attention to it than wearing the normal uniform and your diaper having a bulge." he explains. "But to answer your question, no it doesn't stick out. Skirts just aren't the normal attire" he says.

"However.....since I'm here...." he coos as he walked over and lifted her skirt, then tugged on the back waistband of her diaper. "Still dry, that's good"

Amelia let out a brief sigh in response. "I'm sorry Matt, I just really don't want the crew to find out about this." She replied. "Most people don't know much about Haotians, but imagine if someone finds out the captain of this vessel and the person whose job is to make sure everyone stays safe can't even keep her pants dry."

Amelia gasped a little at how quickly Matt checked her, but she was used to the process by now. "Hopefully I'll be able to keep staying dry during the briefing." She replied as she pulled her skirt back down.

“Amelia that doesn’t matter. If you let it affect your leadership, the team will suffer. You don’t have to run around half naked, just be professional about it. We are a small crew and I doubt the others want to be kicked out right away leaving us to be part of another larger crew” he explains. “Plus it’s going to be hard to explain when you suddenly have to run off for a change or the cabin begins to smell” he adds.

“Things will be fine, just be brave and lead” he finishes while giving her a gentle hug then walked to the door. “Come on, let’s not keep them waiting” he insists.

On the main deck was the engineer and doctor. The doctor sat in a waiting chair near the ‘shields’ buttons. He was 5’10, about the same weight as Matt, and he wore a similar outfit/uniform, however his shirt and pants stripe was green. His name was Mako and he was a Tigre alien, from a planet of animal anthros.

Amelia listened to Matt's explanation, and realized he was right. At the end of the day, she was still qualified for the job. She also realized it would hard to hide the smell that usually came from using her diapers. "I... I guess you have a point. Should I just be honest and tell them?" She asked as she accepted the hug from Matt before leaving the room.

Roxanne Erickson was eagerly waiting for the Captain to enter the main deck. She still couldn't believe she was made chief engineer on the Cosmos. She had Hispanic heritage which translated to her black hair in a pixie cut. Her uniform was also different from the others, as instead of the more presentable shirt worn by the other crew members, she was dressed in a yellow jumpsuit with several pockets for her tools. She still had her rank badge and the Federation insignia, but it was more faded compared to the others.

As the door slid open and they stepped out together, he lightly shrugged. "I think if it comes up that you should be honest, but I don't know if being that upfront would be the best idea. If you want to just get it out of the way then sure. Perhaps it'll be easier to just get it off your chest and see how the crew reacts. Either way, you have me. Just don't try and hide it if it comes up is my main advice" he insists as he held her hand for a moment then let go.

He then led the way and stood in the room as he saw Roxanne and Mako. "Hello Roxanne, Mako, the captain will be with us shortly" he announces.

Mako nodded and slowly stood up, just to be courteous as his superiors were coming.

Amelia listened to her friend's advice and nodded, blushing a little bit at the thought of telling others about her secret. "Okay, I'll keep those ideas in mind."

Amelia and Matt soon arrived on the main deck of the Cosmos. She entered the room after Matt and adopted a serious demeanor. "Hello there. I am Captain Axtron, and I will be leading you on this journey through the universe. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask."

Roxanne eagerly got up and walked over to Amelia. "Ooh! I have some questions! What kind of warp engine does the ship have? What about the weapons? Do the artificial replicators work?" She then got a better look at her captain. "Oh! Are you a Haosian? I've read about them before, but I've never met one in person!"

Mall blinked in a bit of surprise at how bubbly the engineer was with the captain, but shrugged his shoulders and looked to Matt. “My name is Mako, a Tigre if it wasn’t obvious by my tail” he lightly jests. “I am a doctor, and I look forward to aiding you diligently, while also earning some credentials to further my career and usefulness to the federation” he states.

“Very good” Matt says to Mako then scratched his head with Roxanne. “My name is Matt, I am the Captain’s 2nd. And Captain you did happen to say ask any questions” he teases. He was surprised that Roxanne knew about Amelia’s race, and perhaps that would make her secret much less of a concern.

“Roxanne, I will show you to the engine room shortly and you can explore as you wish” he states.
